William what can you tell us about yourself?

I’ve been an Oil & Gas Technician for the past 7 years’ and had experience across Completions and Wireline for Halliburton and Peak Schlumberger, focusing on liner hangers, wellbore service tools and other various tools. My main role recently in R&D Solutions has been to focus on the servicing / operational aspect which included disassembly, assembly, testing and torquing activities.

What attracted you to the Energy Sector?

I guess it was the extensive learning opportunities the industry offered, improving my skills and problem solving which you get from working in a very dynamic, demanding industry. These were my main reasons.

How has your first six months with the company been and what are you enjoying most?

I would say they have been enjoyable, getting to know the team, learning about the products and services that R&D Solutions supplies. There is still a lot to learn but the guys I am working with are great, if I need any assistance or have any questions I get straight answers or assistance as needed.

What’s different about R&D Solutions?

Being a smaller privately owned business, provides better flexibility for me on a personal level and a better team environment in the workplace, we are all working towards the same goals and pitch in as needed.
