DESCRIPTION

The Chemical Soak Tool offers a precise method for applying a pre-selected chemical solution to a downhole safety valve without the need for pumping operations. Deployed via slickline, the Chemical Soak Tool will seal in the lower seal bore of the landing nipple, allowing for the targeted soak area in the annulus between the tool and the ID of the TRSSSV. Once in position, the Chemical Soak Tool piston can be closed and the selected chemical deployed and allowed to soak into the affected area.
